Brad Mueller (2026)
A 2003 Mars graduate, Brad Mueller competed as a football running back and on the track & field team. Mueller was the eighth player in WPIAL history to rush for 400 yards in a single game. During his senior year, he also set the school single-season records for total yards (2,126) and touchdowns (25) on offense and interceptions (7) on defense.
In track, Mueller won three WPIAL titles in the 100 meter and two in the 200 meter. He won a state championship in the 100 meter in 2003.
Following high school, Mueller moved on to play defensive back for Boston College. He served as a starter for multiple seasons and helped his team to four bowl game wins. After graduating from Boston College, Mueller pursued a second degree at Slippery Rock University, where he competed in track. In 2008, Mueller won the DII indoor 60-meter national championship.
Mueller was inducted into the Mars Sports Hall of Fame in 2021.
