Jeff Schnur (2026)
A 1972 Butler graduate, Jeff Schnur competed in soccer and track & field. In high school, Schnur set a school record for the mile run. Schnur then attended Slippery Rock University, where he ran both cross country and track & field.
In 1976, Schnur founded the Butler County Area Soccer Association and became the district’s first high school boys soccer coach, when a team first formed in 1983. During 10 years, Schnur led his teams to six section titles and was named WPIAL Coach of the Year in 1992. Schnur has continued coaching in various capacities for 50 years.
